Gary Merrill
CEO

Gary has worked for Hussey Seating for over 25 years and was elected President and CEO in June 2016. Prior to that role Gary served as Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer. Gary graduated from the University of Maine with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting and received his MBA from Babson College. He earned his CPA while working for PricewaterhouseCoopers LLC in Portland, ME. In addition to his responsibilities at Hussey Seating, Gary serves on the Board of Directors for Tilson Technology, the Maine Chamber of Commerce, and Educate Maine.

 
         
   


Letitia Hussey Beauregard
Board Chair

Letitia Hussey Beauregard is a member of the 6th generation of the Hussey Family and has been a member of the Board of Directors since 2012 and became Chair of the Board in 2016. She is one of the principals and a founding member of Family Capital Trust Company which is a New Hampshire chartered corporate trustee that manages family trusts and multi-generation wealth. As Director of Personal Trust at Family Capital, Letitia oversees the trust services and sits on the company's Board of Directors and its Investment Committee. Letitia graduated with a BS in Business Economics from Alfred University and attended Northwestern's National Trust and Graduate Trust Schools. She is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council and the Essex County Estate Planning Council.

         
   


Brian Deveaux
President and CFO

In 2022, Brian Deveaux assumed the role of President in addition to the position of CFO which he has held since 2017. Before joining Hussey Seating, he was a partner and co-founder of Leaders LLC, a Portland-based advisory firm that specialized in advising family businesses in strategic transactions. Prior to forming Leaders, he served as Chief Operating Officer of Seabrook International, a manufacturer of surgical instruments for Fortune 100 companies, and held several management positions in operations at Bath Iron Works, a subsidiary of General Dynamics. Brian currently serves on the board of the Manufacturers Association of Maine and The Susan L. Curtis Foundation. He graduated from Bowdoin College with degrees in Math and Economics.
