The Griffin Center

Overview

The Dr. Ervin V. Griffin Sr. Centre at Halifax Community College is a 1,462-seat theatre and multipurpose facility designed for performances, concerts, banquets, receptions, conferences, exhibits, meetings, dances, and the like. 1,011 of the seats are retractable, creating a 7,200 square-foot multipurpose area that can be arranged with tables and chairs in various ways. Our Gallery area is designed for smaller meetings, receptions, and luncheons for about 120 people. The Griffin Centre serves the college, community, and the Roanoke Valley as a venue for educational and cultural programming, economic development, and community activities.
