The family owned North Berwick based company releases annual report
August 10, 2017 – North Berwick, ME – Hussey Seating Company reports highest revenue in the company’s 182-year history. Their FY2017 annual report highlights the company hitting $100M in revenue – 98% of which came from outside the state of Maine - and injecting $15M in payroll contributions into the Southern Maine economy. These added up to a feat most appreciated by their 280+ full time employees who enjoyed another record - the highest profit sharing contribution in the company’s history.
Contributors to this year’s success were the total seating replacements of 65,500 seats in Nissan Stadium home to the Tennessee Titans, and 17,000 seats in Bridgestone Arena, home to the Nashville Predators. However, the primary market for Hussey Seating isn’t the professional event venue market, it’s actually the k-12 and college and university telescopic bleacher market.
