School seating goes back to the future

When it comes to releasing a new fixed auditorium seat for the K-12 school market, you first thought probably doesn't run to wood. But that's exactly what we've done in creating our new Quattro Performance Plyform chair. Take a closer look and you'll see, this isn't your father's wooden school seat.

In many school districts, there's a strong demand for a traditionally-styled wooden auditorium seat. Well, forget the drab, dinged-up wooden chairs you may remember from your school years. We've taken classic plywood seating to an exciting new level by engineering seats that stand up to the rigors of even the toughest school environment -- attractively, safely and affordably enough for virtually any school budget.

The Quatro Performance Plyform model features seats and backs made from 11-ply cross banded plywood with flat-sided oval steel tube stanchions that add strength as well as style. The seat’s modular design makes it particularly easy to replace parts or make repairs, as needed. And the safety features that we’ve built into the Quattro Performance Series help limit classroom accidents and reduce a school’s liability. These features include Hussey’s signature seat back design that extends below the seat to keep toes from getting pinched. In addition, the low-profile hardware and fasteners and an enclosed hinge mechanism are tamper-resistant.

So if you're looking for a nostalgic old-school look with fully modern performance for your school auditorium chair, contact your local Hussey Seating dealer. They'll be happy to take you back to the future with the Quattro Performance Plyform chair.
